Noun

Pronoun

Verb

Adjective

An adjective describes a noun. It gives more information.
Example: big, happy, red

Adverb

An adverb describes a verb. It tells how or when something happens.
Example: slowly, well

Preposition

A preposition shows position or place. It shows relation between words.
Example: in, on, under

Conjunction

A conjunction joins words or sentences. It connects ideas.
Example: and, but, because

Interjection

An interjection shows sudden feeling. It expresses emotion.
Example: wow!, oh!
