Grade 6 - Project 7
1. Justice in My Life (Personal Reflection Project)
Write about one situation where you or someone you know showed fairness.
Compare it with Algu and Jumman’s behaviour
Justice in My Life – Personal Reflection
Situation:
In my class, two students had a fight during group work. Both said the other one did not do any work.
Problem:
The problem was to find out who was telling the truth. If the teacher took only one side, it would not be fair.
Fair Decision:
The teacher listened to both students and also asked the other group members. She found that both students made mistakes. She gave them another chance and shared the work clearly. This was a fair decision.
Comparison with Algu and Jumman:
In the story Fair Play, Algu and Jumman were friends. Still, they gave fair judgments as Panch. Algu was fair to Jumman’s aunt. Later, Jumman was fair to Algu. They did not choose friends over justice.
What I Learned:
I learned that we should always be fair. We should tell the truth and do what is right, even if it is hard. Justice is more important than friendship.
2. Quotation Explanation Project
Quote:
“A Panch has no friend nor enemy. He knows only justice.”
-
Explain the quote in your own words
-
Give one real-life example
Quote:
“A Panch has no friend nor enemy. He knows only justice.”
Explanation:
This quote means that a Panch should not support friends or harm enemies. He should think only about what is right and fair. A Panch must tell the truth and give a fair decision to everyone. Justice should be more important than friendship or anger.
Real-life Example:
In a school, a class monitor is asked to check homework. One of the students is the monitor’s close friend. Even then, the monitor marks the homework honestly. He does not give special favour to his friend. This shows fairness, just like a Panch in the story Fair Play.
